After installation and successful verification, the government subsidy amount (₹78,000 central subsidy + ₹30,000 state subsidy = ₹1,08,000 total subsidy) is credited directly to the customer’s bank account. If the customer deposits this subsidy amount into the loan account as part-prepayment, the loan tenure reduces significantly and the overall interest payable also becomes lower. In many cases, the remaining EMI burden becomes much lower than the customer’s previous electricity bill.
